Punch
The punches we manufacture are called header punches, one type of die used in screw production.
They are dies used during the header forming stage of screw manufacturing to shape the screw head and driver drive hole, serving as a critical component in screw fastening.
Our punches utilize cold forming plastic working technology on high-speed tool steel (HSS), enabling their adoption across a wide range of screw products—from the extremely small sizes used in smartphones to the bolt sizes used in automobiles.
Since 1966, they have been trusted and used by our customers as the ‘NHK HSS Punch’.
Building on our long-cultivated expertise, we will continue to develop and supply a diverse range of long-life punches.

Q Gauge / Bite Gauge
Leveraging our grinding technology, we provide gauges for quality inspection of screw driver drive holes.
These gauges manage the depth and opening of screw product drive holes, making them essential for screw product quality control.
We primarily manufacture hand plug gauges for engagement verification compliant with various standards and gauges for Q-dimension measurement (sink depth measurement).
The Q-dimension measurement gauge consists of three components: a gauge pin (measuring element), a sleeve (main body), and a dial gauge.
